Lento Violento by Elena Francalanci uses Liscio, the traditional Italian couple's dance, to explore desire as a ritualized, public process. Through cinematic episodes and intimate fragments around a wooden installation, two performers navigate closeness and separation – between darkness and light, impulse and restraint.
