To mark its 30th anniversary, Tanzhaus Zürich is hosting the MovingTowardsZero festival (June 26–28, 2026): a utopian space where art, activism and community come together. The Parade is part of MovingTowardsZero.
We're taking to the streets through dance – against precariousness, isolation and global injustice.
As authoritarian forces grow stronger and rearmament is prioritised at the expense of social security, global crises are coming to a head: from the climate catastrophe to patriarchal violence and racist structures. These developments often leave us feeling powerless.

But right now, more than ever, we need resistance that unites us and makes hope tangible. Our alternatives are clear: climate justice instead of exploitation, shorter working hours, a city for all, fair care work and a break with colonial legacies. Away from capitalism, towards a society based on solidarity.
Physical expression as political practice: the parade starts at Ni-Una-Menos-Platz aka Helvetiaplatz and winds its way through Zurich to Tanzhaus as a living choreography of protest. Accompanied by mobile sound systems and a drum ensemble, artists and activists make interventionist statements against existing power structures at symbolic locations.

The parade is an invitation to take up space and embody change. Initiated by Tanzhaus Zürich as part of MovingTowardsZero, and organised by the artistic-activist group POLLEN in collaboration with Klimastreik Zürich, Perrrformat, Störfaktor:innen and other partners.

Hope is hard work! Solidarity isn't abstract – it emerges from our movements and our collective action. Join us on the streets!
