Perrrformat Performance Festival
The rrrRr – Perrrformat Performance Festival will return this summer. Once again, Perrrformat creates a public, free festival in Zurich over the course of three days.
rrrRr – Perrrformat Performance Festival brings together artistic works that respond to urban spaces through movement, sound, body, language, and choreography, engaging with questions of visibility, belonging, desire, control, and collective coexistence.

Lateena & The Dolls with Tamara Alegre

Alongside the performances, a range of educational moments are offered throughout the festival. Fifteen minutes before each performance, a brief on-site introduction invites shared arrival and contextualisation of the respective work. In addition, Aina Rea Aliotta will introduce the history and current practice of performance art in public space on Thursday; on Saturday, the workshop Resonances in Space: Practices of Presence and Perception will take place.
The festival headquarters this year is the Zentralwäscherei – among other events it's the location for the opening on June 25 and the afterparty on June 27. The Parade by POLLEN is realized in collaboration with Tanzhaus Zürich.
